# getAsset()

This endpoint is designed to retrieve the content of an asset file in JSON format. The asset is identified by its exact name, so it must be spelled correctly for the query to be successful.

**Method Signature**

```php
public function getAsset($blockchain, $name)
```

**Parameters**

| Name         | Type   | Description                  |
| ------------ | ------ | ---------------------------- |
| `blockchain` | String | Blockchain address in hex    |
| `name`       | String | The asset you're looking for |

**Example**
