# Redeeming a Voucher

Redeeming a voucher is a simple process. Once redeemed, the voucher’s balance will appear in your wallet. However, you will not be able to access these funds until after the voucher’s time lock has expired.

1. Navigate to the Voucher tab and click 'Redeem'

2. Enter the redemption code shared by the voucher's creator and click 'Redeem'

3. If the voucher code is valid, you will see the following success screen. Click 'Continue and View voucher to view the details'

4. After you have redeemed a voucher, it will appear in your voucher tab under the 'Redeemed Vouchers' section, showing the voucher's token/USD value, and a countdown timer until the voucher's funds become unlocked.
